Have you noticed how God will bring along someone or something to help you just when you need it.
Last week, while at Panama City Beach I was disappointed at the beginning of the week because I wasn't getting much response to the surveys we were taking to get a conversation going. Then on morning during our sessions the speaker was talking about divine appointments and if you want one just ask for one. So I did. I also think that my partner did that morning too. Later that day after walking past numerous people, two guys called out to us. We talked with them and tehy took the survey. They were really open to what we were saying. One of the guys asked "where did God come from?" My partner and I had no answer for him then.
Later that night, while reading a "case for faith", I came across an answer for the guy's question. So the next day we were prepared. We went to where we saw the guys the day before. They weren't there. We both were disappointed. However, we talked to two guys from France going to school here in the US. I had a wonderful conversation with the one I was talking to. After talking to them for a while, we decided to head back to where we were staying. We started to walk along the beach where the sand is dry. After a while our calves began to hurt so we went down to the water edge to walk. Not more than 2 mins later, the two guys came walking by. They were actually looking for us. Amazing. God answered our prayers that day. Just think if we decided to kept walking along where we were earlier, we probably would never have ran into these two guys to answer their question about where did God come from.
God is awesome. I have also met someone from UNCA. This person is really awesome. J has been there for me when I needed someone to talk to last week. I thank God for him. He heard my rants but he also heard praise stories. He was the person that could handle what I was going through and God knew it and put him in my life.
Anyways....our games were canceled today....we have games tomorrow at UT-D. we will see how that goes...
